Exploring the Stream

Exploring is one of the things we love to do.

 

So, we headed off to follow a stream, but silly Momma forgot the wellies.

 

 

Luckily there were fun bridges to keep us happy.

 

I guess we weren't alone. Looking at this picture, I just found a kid peeping out. :)

Scavenger Hunt

Armed with clip boards, the kids went on a scavenger hunt. Each kiddo had different things to hunt for and different ways to record what they found.

Li simply drew pictures and found things that were smooth, round, and certain colors or a cool stick or a rock.

Jo-Jo answered some simple questions about the things she discovered.

Ceesa's questions were more reflective and required paragraphs.

And Shadow, well, he watched.
