B12 is found in dairy, red meat, fish, poultry, eggs, clams, and liver. It is an important vitamin for your body, but you may be wondering what causes an elevated B12 level. When I first began my journey to getting a diagnosis of Hashimoto's, an autoimmune condition where your body's immune system mistakes your thyroid gland for an intruder and attacks it, I had lots of blood work (so much blood work).
